Retouching is a way to enhance your images and optimize the final look of your photos. Retouching can be small and subtle, such as removing facial blemishes and adding contrast and color, or it can be extensive, as in changing a background, altering facial features or blending two or more photos.
Below are some examples of images I've retouched, with an explanation of what I did. Click on an image to see it larger (it will appear in a pop-up window) and simply mouse over the enlargement to see the before and after effect.
Retouching starts at $45/hr. A limited amount of retouching is included in the price of portraits.
This is the most common example of retouch work, which includes color correction and removal of skin blemishes. This one was a little more elaborate due to the hair blowing in her face, but still a basic "quick-fix". |

In this family wedding portrait, I did some very minor face retouching and removed some power lines and utility pole from the background. |

Morgan's nail polish had chipped during the shoot, which became very noticeable in this close up. I fixed her nails and added a slight bit of contrast to her eyes, so they wouldn't go completely dark behind her glasses. |
